This reminds me… Me and my best friend…We have padlock of Ren and the key. (I’m always saying “When are we going to take pictures for the tumblr?” And he says: “Yes, yes, someday.”) My key is in a bracelet, my lucky bracelet, with a few more special charms. And… I lost the bracelet!!!! I’m so, so sad, and worried. I solemny swear: If I get to find the bracelet, I will take a photo for the blog and for you, people.
In theory, it is it. There are many rumours like: “She’s recovering, she’s going ill again”, but is nothing sure. Has been two years since the last information. (“Yazawa returned from hospital in early April 2010, though has not specified when or if she will resume the manga.”- WIkipedia) . Who knows. Maybe she’s still ill, or maybe… she’s not “feeling” the manga in this moment. Artists are complicated. I wish we could know more of our Ai. :(
Don’t worry, I understand the concern about Ai. We all care about her! She’s my favorite Mangaka too, the one who inspires me to follow a path that is not traditional. I been re-reading Parakiss, and….. all the feelings, I tell you.
But unfortunately, I don’t have news about her health, or her work. Has been a lot of rumours this years, but all of them are.. dissolved, or at least, hasn’t been proved. My heart hurts when I think “Maybe she’s realy quitting”, but…we don’t know what is she going through. I wish we know. :(
